Still Decompressing

Sabbatical is anathema to everything that I have ever done. Last Wednesday I wrote in my journal: “I’m going crazy. I’m trying to relax. But just trying to will myself to relax is not working. I was relaxed today when I was reading The Bourne Legacy. I was relaxed when I was spreading mulch. I was relaxed while preparing food. But just sitting… that doesn’t work. When I try to be quiet, my mind is flooded with everything or nothing and I am not tolerating either end of the spectrum at this point. I still have a bit of decompressing to do.
